Colour, colour  it's all about the colour.

Very often an abstract painting is where I start, sometimes it leads me on to a floral or a landscape but very often the colour just absorbs me and that's where it stays.

​

Sometimes I want to add texture with free form embroidery adding texture or pulling out  a particular colour that runs through the canvas sometimes the paint just tells the whole story.
